Inception and Development
The Claretian Mission at Buti-Bori in the Archdiocese of Nagpur was opened on 25 November 2000. Most Rev. AbrahamViruthukulangara, the Archbishop of Nagpur blessed and opened the Centre during a prayer session. Buti-Bori is 27 kms. away from Nagpur City, a fast developing industrial area. Fr. Siby Eravimangalam who pioneered the Mission purchased eight acres of land by the Nagpur – Hyderabad highway for the purpose of starting an English Medium School.

Pastoral Ministry:
The diocese has erected the Buti-Bori parish and entrusted it to the Claretians on 27 October 2002. The Parish is named after St Claret. Though predominently a Hindu area, there are 30 Christian families (20 Catholic and 10 of other denominations) in this industrial area. The missionaires take care of the spiritual welfare of these people

Education Apostolate
Sensing quality education to be the need of the area, the Missionaries opened the St Claret School in CBSC pattern on 1 July 2002 and began functioning in a rented house. The school is in the fast track of development. In the academic year 2005-06, when the school has reached the II standard, caters to 480 students.
