                                   Vocation Promotion

After the creation of the new St. Thomas Province from the Province of Bangalore, the Claretian centers in Kerala came under the jurisdiction of the newly formed organism. As many of the priests in the Province of Bangalore hail from Kerala, it was a felt need to start a transit in Kerala. The house would also serve as a centre for vocation promotion in Kerala. For this purpose, 1.96 acres of land was purchased at Chambanur in Angamali on 5 March 2004. Fr. Thomas Pattam is the pioneer missionary to the place.
